Bamboo Basics Timeline

2019
Bamboo Basics was founded by the HVEG Group. With the goal of making comfortable basics accessible, Bamboo Basics was created as part of HVEG's mission to develop innovative and responsible brands.

2021
Best Product of the Year 2021-2022. In the "Best Product of the Year Netherlands" competition, consumers can rate products. The concept originated from the desire for consumers to share their opinions about their favorite products. The goal of the competition is to give consumer products positive media attention. Products are assessed based on various criteria. The winners are awarded for achieving the highest scores on the aspects of a product considered most important by consumers.

2022
The first LCA report was conducted for the Bamboo Basics T-shirt. This documented the product's environmental impact and marked a significant step toward transparency and sustainability.

2023
Bamboo Basics launched its first baby collection and the Circular Made collection. Customer service was also established, and the brand joined Thuiswinkel, a confirmation of its reliability and quality.

2024
Bamboo Basics launched a new website and began a partnership with Monta. We transitioned to organic cotton certification and began our B Corp journey. We also attended the Shopping Awards gala and won the 2025 Shopping Awards in the Underwear & Swimwear category!

2025
Bamboo Basics introduced the Lounge and Pyjama collection, expanding the range with comfortable basics for the home.
